The Hudson House was a school project for a residential home with requirements to meet the needs of a disabled elderly couple planning for retirement. Working together with a group, we were given a client profile and a task to create a suitable living environment, furniture pieces, and lighting fixtures to present in virtual reality. I took inspiration from a diversity of African tribes reflecting deeper into their art and culture for this project. The primary focal point was aimed towards the seven principles of Universal Design and creating an environment that is accessible, usable, and convenient to benefit all end users.
